We can’t wait to see it all come together.
It begins with an appointment to meet and discuss your ideal family home. Then our teams of home designers go to work on creating a house plan that has everything you want in your dream home. After step 5 you home is designed and the budget is set.
Step: 1 Initial Consultation
The first time we meet we will take a little time getting to know each other’s style and process to determine if we are a good fit. We will take more time listening to your vision and desired budget. We will then discuss design ideas and dilemmas. Together we will develop a big picture of your project. Soon after we can provide you with a quote for the design services.
Step: 2 Site Visit and Measure
The team will visit the design site. If you are building a new home on a lot, we need to see it and collect some information. When doing a complete renovation of an existing home we need to know the space and take extensive measurements. On this visit, we will discuss possibilities for the project and review your intake paperwork.
Step: 3 Design Presentation
The preliminary design is ready! We will collect the remaining balance and schedule the reveal. During the reveal appointment, we will present our plan, renderings, options and ideas for your project. Now is the time to answer any questions you have and make sure you understand our vision clearly. We will go over your preliminary preconstruction estimate and discuss options for moving forward with finalizing the design.
Step: 4 Final Plan Delivery
The design has been revised based on your feedback discussed during the reveal. The team will go over every detail of the plan with you to make sure everything is approved. We believe the meticulous attention to detail we have in step 4 lays the foundation for a smooth and timely project.
Step: 5 Production Phase
Once the final design and budget are approved, we begin preparing your design for production. The building contract will be signed, the deposit paid and we will help you finalize all your selections. Then your plans are prepared for permitting, and once we obtain the permits, the building phase begins.
